The Visual Basic (VB) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Code Printer (VBPRT) allows you to print a formatted copy of your code in a single program.
Also available in the printout are certain statistics about your code, such as lines of code, number of comment lines, number of functions, subroutines etc. Also, some project parameters are also printed with the report.
The VB Code Printer will operate on any project developed under Microsoft® Visual Basic 5 or Visual Basic 6. It will also operate on any Microsoft® Word®, Access®, or Excel® Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code from Office versions 97, 2000, 2002/XP, 2003, 2007, 2010 or 2013. Please note, the Acess® version will not operate under Office 97.
An additional feature of this tool is that you can take a page and copy it into your computer’s clipboard so that you can paste it into any other program of your choosing.
The diagram below, illustrates a sample of the formatted output from this program.
The figure below is a sample of the code statistics page.
The VB Code Printer (VBPRT) system requires no additional software installed, except when printing any of the Microsoft® VBA systems then Microsoft® Office will be needed.
If printing a Visual Basic (VB) project, Microsoft® Visual Basic/Visual Studio is not required to be installed.
The application has two tabs, one for detailing the contents of a specific project and allowing the user to select the appropriate components. The other tab is used to configure the code printer system. These two tabs are detailed below.
